1. Agreement

These terms are between you and Innovation Nexus LLC ("we", "us"). By using https://cityofriverbend.com you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You may register with an email address and password, or sign in with a Google, Facebook, or Microsoft account. You agree to:

• provide accurate information and keep it current;
• keep your credentials confidential, and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised;
• be responsible for activity under your account, and not share it with anyone else;
• be at least 13 years old.

If you sign in through a third-party provider, your use of that provider remains governed by that provider's own terms. What we receive from them is described in our Privacy policy. You may disconnect at any time from your provider's settings.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• submit false, fraudulent, or deliberately misleading information — including impersonating another person or a public official;
• upload malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data;
• probe, scan, scrape at scale, or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of the service;
• use the site to harass, threaten, or defame anyone, or to post unlawful content;
• use the site to violate any applicable law.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display it as needed to operate the service and to handle the request you submitted. Do not submit anything you do not have the right to share.

5. Demonstration data and simulated transactions

Content on this site — including residents, accounts, permits, bills, and financial figures — is fictional sample data created for demonstration. Specifically:

• No payment is real. Bill payment and fee collection are simulated and clearly labelled as such. No card is charged, and no funds are transferred.
• No submission reaches a real government. Permit, licence, and service requests are processed only within this demonstration.
• Demonstration data may be reset or deleted at any time without notice.

6. Availability

We provide the site on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Third-party links and services

The site links to third-party websites and uses third-party identity providers. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

8. Intellectual property

The Civic Suite platform, its software, and the design of this site are owned by Innovation Nexus LLC. Nothing here transfers any right in them to you.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or professional advice, and no information here should be relied on as an official act of any government.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the site.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms. You may stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account at [email protected].

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
